Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en operaciones de sistemas Linux y proveedores de nube pública.
• Habilidades de scripting en Bash y Python son imprescindibles.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, construir y gestionar infraestructuras y servicios en la nube como código.
• Contribuir a la creación y actualización de diagramas de arquitectura y documentación.

Misión

As part of our Infrastructure Engineering team, your mission will be to design, build and maintain highly available and resilient cloud infrastructures that support Kudelski Security’s business. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a high-paced, and highly technical environment, is security-minded, familiar with the DevOps culture of “you build it, you run it” and the open-source world.

Responsabilidades

Your Responsibilities will be to:

1. Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructures and services, as code.
2. Work on continuous integration & deployment to deploy the infrastructure and its components.
3. Suggest and initiate improvements related to quality, scalability, reliability, and availability of existing workloads, to better support our stakeholders.
4. Actively contribute to creating and updating architecture diagrams and documentation.
5. Participate in security-related initiatives, threat modeling exercises, and certifications (e.g., ISO & SOC2).
6. Advise on cost-efficiency and ways to optimize spending.
7. Resolve technical issues, provide hands-on assistance to stakeholders on a wide variety of technical topics, support the whole stack 24/7.

This role involves:

1. Contacts with people running the business, developers, and data engineers.
2. Working in a multicultural environment, the team is spread between India, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States.
3. Coaching, sharing knowledge and experience with less experienced colleagues.
4. Internal transversal interactions with other teams, departments, and business units.
5. Being part of the out of business hours on-call, maximum 1 week per month.

Your aim is to play an active role in helping Kudelski Security to provide customers with the best experience through their journey into our Managed Security Service and ultimately make our customer’s lives more secure.

Requisitos / Perfil

You are:

1. An enthusiast team-player, capable to anticipate and adapt to new situations.
2. Curious, able, and willing to evolve and develop expertise rapidly in a wide range of ever-changing technologies.
3. Self-taught, able to work autonomously with minimal guidance, carry tasks from beginning to end.
4. Conscientious: sense of responsibility with a high level of commitment.
5. A solution finder, able to use and glue a wide variety of technologies and tools.
6. Security-oriented, understand that a security company can’t afford a breach.
7. At ease with troubleshooting and solving complex problems in complex environments.
8. Fluent in English.

You have:

1. An engineering degree in technology / computer science or equivalent.
2. 5+ years of recent / immediate experience with Linux system operations and public cloud service providers, Azure preferred, AWS & GCP a plus.
3. Scripting & coding abilities, Bash & Python a must, Golang a plus.
4. Troubleshooting and debugging skills, e.g., you are able to understand how traffic initiated from a workstation ends up reaching its destination through the different layers (DNS, CDN, LB, TLS, etc.).
5. You have already and extensively used most of these technologies: Auth0, Cloudflare, Docker, Gitlab, Grafana, Hashicorp Vault, Istio, Kubernetes, and Prometheus.
6. Process re-engineering skills. Don’t take anything for granted.
7. Linux / Command-line / Network knowledge.

These would be a plus:

1. Security-related certifications.
2. Spanish, any other languages are an asset.
