For one of our clients, we are looking for a Business Analyst, remotely from Europe and Nigeria.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of core banking systems, particularly focusing on loan and deposit modules. You will collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide insights that influence product roadmaps and customer success strategies. This role requires an analytical thinker with strong communication and writing skills who can translate complex business and technical concepts into clear and actionable documentation.

Accountabilities :

  • Engage with customers and prospects to understand their business needs and define product requirements.
  • Analyze and document business requirements, ensuring alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Conduct market research on competitor offerings and industry trends to support product innovation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business objectives into clear technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including internal guidelines and customer-facing materials.
  • Participate in testing new product features to ensure they meet business requirements and customer expectations.
  • Provide support to cross-functional teams and customers by addressing product-related queries and offering training sessions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Background in banking, particularly with loan and deposit products, or accounting practices is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business and technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • Experience working with financial calculations and managing complex data sets.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, APIs, and integration concepts.
  • Competency in prototyping, wireframing, and creating user stories is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive self-learner with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to one week per month.
