What you will be doing

We are the 100% digital bank of the Santander Group, undergoing technological transformation and international expansion. Since our relaunch in 2017, we have expanded rapidly, especially in technology, working in a start-up format with agile methodologies. Mission and responsibilities

We seek a Business Analyst to join our new customer onboarding team, focusing on customer journey development to enhance the digital retail banking experience. Your goal is to optimize new customer acquisition by improving onboarding processes and KPIs, reducing friction, and delivering excellent customer experiences. You will collaborate with other analysts and report to the business product owner, handling requirements analysis, process documentation, user acceptance testing, data analysis, incident management, and process improvements.

Key tasks include:

  • Evaluating customer journeys and processes for improvements.
  • Leading reviews and developing optimization strategies.
  • Analyzing data, monitoring dashboards, and deriving insights.
  • Staying updated on fintech and IT advancements.
  • Conducting meetings, presentations, and reporting.
  • Gathering stakeholder requirements and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Performing user acceptance testing and project management.
  • Updating procedures and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Acting as liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Monitoring KPIs, alerts, and incident management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Proactive, independent, and responsible work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Excel, reporting, and digital tools (Service Now, Jira, Confluence) is desirable.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Passion for digital transformation and user experience.
