Overview

As a Business Analyst at Xebia, you will play a crucial role in our standalone application migration initiatives to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for our pharmaceutical clients. Working closely with our Technical Product Manager, you will translate complex technical requirements into detailed business specifications that guide implementation. This collaborative role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to bridge communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users throughout the migration journey.

Your Impact

As a Business Analyst on this critical migration project, you'll ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and properly implemented throughout the migration journey. Your detailed analysis and documentation will create the foundation for successful application migrations that maintain essential business functionality while leveraging new cloud capabilities. You'll be an integral part of a unified team delivering transformative technology solutions with minimal business disruption.

Responsibilities :

• Document and refine technical requirements established by the Technical Product Manager, ensuring completeness, clarity, and traceability
• Analyze existing applications to identify business rules, data flows, and functional components needed for successful migration
• Create detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide development efforts
• Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather additional business context for migration requirements
• Develop process flows, data models, and use case diagrams to visualize and communicate complex migration requirements
• Support testing efforts by creating test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria based on documented requirements
• Identify and document integration points between applications and external systems
• Maintain requirements traceability to ensure all aspects of migration are properly addressed
• Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager to resolve requirement inconsistencies and address gaps
• Assist in evaluating migration impact on business processes and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support change management activities by creating documentation for user training and knowledge transfer
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle

Requirements : Essential

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or migration projects
• Strong analytical skills with experience documenting complex technical requirements
• Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques and documentation standards
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and migration frameworks
• Experience with requirements management tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of standard business analysis deliverables (process flows, use cases, user stories)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional team environments
• Basic understanding of database structures and API integrations
• Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and handle ambiguity
• Experience with business process modeling and analysis

• Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry environments
• Familiarity with GCP services and cloud computing architectures
