adesso Spain is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our international team. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

You will gather, analyze and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications and user stories for development and testing teams.

Fluent English is required; Spanish is a plus; experience with OpenAPI/AsyncAPI and Agile methods is preferred.

For the office of adesso Spain, we are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our international team, acting as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of high‐quality solutions. The candidate will join the client project team with the main mission of gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, and translating them into clear functional specifications and user stories for development and testing teams.

Required Skills

• Fluent English, both spoken and written;
• Spanish is a plus.
• Proven experience in requirements analysis, functional analysis, and the definition of user stories and functional documentation.
• Experience working with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI documentation for APIs.
• Proficiency in Markdown and documentation management using GitHub (issues, pull requests, versioning).
• Solid technical understanding to: Read and understand Java applications at a high level. Perform SQL queries for data analysis and validation. Analyse application logs in functional support and incident resolution. Experience in the definition and validation of functional and integration tests for REST APIs and web applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic UX knowledge to identify user needs, participate in workshops, and contribute to user‑centric solution design.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to facilitate conversations between business and IT stakeholders.
