adesso Spain is seeking a Backend Developer / DBA to join our international team and help develop a mission-critical data platform processing millions of transactions and queries daily. The role involves collaborating with international teams with business trips to Germany every 3 months.

You will optimize databases, design backend solutions, and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications, while contributing to a cloud-native platform running on AWS, aiming for scalable, high-performance systems.

Formación

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora preferred).
• Experience optimizing database performance and writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Experience with cloud and DevOps technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
