Descripción del empleo

We are looking for a Business Account Manager (Desk based Business Development Manager) to work with a panel of Independent Financial Advisor Firms (IFAs), based in and around London. The role involves developing business relationships with IFAs, driving growth, and generating profitable revenue for LV= by selling our range of investment and savings products, particularly the LB Smooth Managed fund range, in partnership with our existing field-based Business Development Managers.

  1. Influence and increase sales of our broad Savings and Retirement Product suite, especially the Smoothed Managed Fund Range across multiple tax wrappers, including Personal Pension, Smooth Managed Funds, Investment Bond, ISA, and Trustee Investment Plan.
  2. Promote LV= as a brand ambassador, ensuring the right customer outcomes from our Retirement Solutions Products, and strengthen our position within the IFA marketplace.
  3. Achieve agreed sales targets, stay informed about emerging pension and investment markets, provide accurate management information, and ensure all activities comply with regulatory guidelines.
  4. Work flexibly, with the option to be home-based.
About You

You will have experience in Financial Services intermediary sales, working with IFAs, and possess knowledge of pensions, including the pre/post-retirement market. A successful track record in your current role is essential. You should be familiar with promoting and influencing financial solutions and have a strong ethical sales approach.

This role may also suit someone currently working as a Paraplanner seeking career progression.

You will be able to organize and manage your workload independently, be highly motivated, ambitious, and self-driven, with the energy, passion, and enthusiasm to succeed. Excellent relationship-building, sales negotiation, and influencing skills are crucial.
