IDIBAPS (FUNDACIÓ DE RECERCA CLÍNIC BARCELONA – INSTITUT D'INVESTIGACIONS BIOMÈDIQUES AUGUST PI I SUNYER) is launching a proactive initiative called Building Bridges, aiming to connect talented postdoctoral researchers worldwide with IDIBAPS’ Principal Investigators (PIs). These PIs are eager to showcase their research areas and the scientific and career opportunities available in their labs. The initiative seeks to match potential applicants for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Call 2025 from the European Commission with IDIBAPS PIs.

About IDIBAPS

It is a biomedical research center of excellence located at the Clínic Campus in Barcelona, with a strong international focus. The community comprises over 2,000 members across numerous multidisciplinary groups conducting impactful translational research. IDIBAPS has a robust record in European projects, including Marie Sklodowska-Curie initiatives. The campus includes the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona. IDIBAPS holds several prestigious accreditations, including the HR Excellence in Research from the European Commission and recognition as an Excellent Centre by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

About Building Bridges Initiative

We seek motivated postdoctoral candidates interested in multidisciplinary training within an environment of scientific excellence. The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025 offers a 2-year contract with competitive salary and allowances for research, training, and networking. The application process involves:

  1. Attending the online event on May 12th (13:00-15:00 Spanish time). Register here.
  2. Matching with an IDIBAPS PI by agreeing on a specific project. Select one or two priorities in the application form before May 18th.
  3. Collaborating with the European Projects office on proposal development.
  4. Submitting a proposal by August 27th to the European Commission.

If you and a PI match by May 30th, 2025, IDIBAPS will support you with proposal advice, mobility assistance, onboarding, and career development. You will also be invited to join the postdoctoral community and other initiatives.
