Data Engineer (Python Spark SQL) Madrid onsite to €130,000

Are you a first-class educated professional with Data Engineering skills? Consider progressing your career at a start-up Investment Management firm with secure backing, an established Hedge Fund client as a partner, and significant growth potential.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be key in transitioning the core data platform to Azure, managing third-party data ingestion and integration. You'll collaborate within a small team, focusing on improving data quality and implementing event streaming.

Location: Madrid, full-time (Monday to Friday).

About you:

• You studied at a top 10 university in Spain (or top 200 globally) with scores of 9.0+ in Bachillerato and 7.0+ in University, preferably in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• You have commercial experience with Data Engineering technologies such as SQL, Apache Spark, Python (including PySpark and Pandas).
• You are experienced with Azure and Data Bricks.
• You have a good understanding of modern data engineering best practices.
• You are eager to join a start-up where you can influence and shape your role.
• You possess excellent English communication skills and are collaborative.
