AECOM seeks an Engineer with experience in bridges and/or structures design to join our Madrid team within Enterprise Capabilities. You will contribute to a global portfolio of iconic projects and work across design phases from concept through detailed design.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in civil engineering, 2+ years in bridge/structural design, and fluency in English. The role offers flexible working arrangements and access to BIM, automation, and a diverse multinational team.

Formación

• Master's degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience on bridges and/or structures design (+2 years).
• Fluency in English language (oral and written).
• Experience with international regulations and standards (e.g. AASHTO; AREMA; British Standards; Australian Codes).
• Proficiency with engineering calculation software for bridges/structures (MIDAS Civil NX preferred; CS iBridge, SAP2000, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Perform calculations for typical structural elements and apply load combinations according to limit states.
• Model and analyze structures using specialized software, ensuring model-result consistency.
• Prepare calculation reports, sketches, and drawings; participate in peer reviews.
• Contribute to conceptual studies and evaluate design alternatives based on technical and cost criteria.
• Coordinate with geotechnics, hydraulics, alignment, utilities, and architecture to resolve conflicts.
