Originally famous for our mini gel manicure kit, the LMM brand today encompasses an assortment of creative nail, hand, and foot products that bring color and care to beauty lovers worldwide. With a head office located in Barcelona, our team operates across Europe, the US, and China.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented Senior Manager - Brand & Communications with extensive experience in crafting and executing strategic marketing initiatives in the US market. Proven track record of driving brand growth through innovative marketing strategies, and keen market insights. Adept at leading cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights, and ensuring brand communication resonates effectively with local audiences.

Your role is crucial in navigating our brand through the dynamic US market, requiring a blend of strategic foresight, creative thinking, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Marketing Director in executing the global strategic roadmap.
  • Oversee a team of 4-5 marketers (including 3 direct reports) showcasing leadership skills.
  • Lead the communications strategy and 360 marketing plan for the US market (PR, influencer, social media, email / SMS, brand partnerships, and more). Create consumer-first programs to activate the market with dynamic, fresh ideas.
  • Ensure brand consistency and positioning across all channels while driving initiatives that resonate with the US audience.
  • Work closely with the Barcelona-based team, cross-functional partners, and retail sales team to create and deliver an omnichannel plan from concept to in-market implementation.
  • Partner with high-performing internal, cross-functional teams (Operations, Design, Product Development, Finance, Legal, Production / Logistics, and Education) to deliver across all annual plans and KPIs.
  • Develop strategic marketing briefs for the creative design team for campaigns, photo shoots, and activations.
  • Set KPIs for all marketing plans and for all team members. Conduct regular reviews and tracking.
  • Analyze campaign results and provide debriefs and recommendations to the internal team.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and monitor the competitive landscape to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all internal and external team members and agency partners, providing updates on programs and schedules.
  • Supervise social media management, content calendar planning, community engagement, and more.
  • Manage influencer strategy and partnerships, including identifying new brand partnerships and evaluating results.
  • Supervise the US marketing budget and monthly reconciliation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure the brand remains competitive in the evolving US market.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in brand and communication roles, with at least 3 years in beauty / CPG.
  • Native or fluent in American English.
  • Strong & current knowledge of US culture and trends.
  • Prior experience working in CPG in the US preferred.
  • 3+ years of people management experience with a successful track record in development.
  • Deep understanding of the US beauty “mass-tige” landscape.
  • History of translating data to meaningful market insights.
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong experience in managing social media platforms and online community engagement.
  • Highly detailed and organized with strong project management skills.
  • Strong budget management & financial analysis.
  • A team player who enjoys an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for nail polish and nail care is a big plus!
