An established industry player is seeking a dedicated BCBA to provide behavioral support in a community crisis home. As part of the Telecare Family, Herald House is a 4-bedroom Community Crisis Home (CCH) where residents can have their own bedroom and can explore a variety of interests such as cooking, gardening, budgeting, and practicing living skills to be as independent as possible. Our staff can even arrange outside activities, such as going to school, on a case-by-case basis.
Herald House provides 24-hour, non-medical care to individuals with varying levels of intellectual and developmental abilities. Individuals referred to Herald House are already receiving services from Alta Regional Center, are in need of crisis residential services, and who would otherwise be at-risk of admission to a more restrictive setting such as a hospital or institution.
Full Time : Monday-Friday
Expected hiring salary wage range starts at $90K annually with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The BCBA will play a critical role in providing behavioral support and oversight within a community crisis home for adults with developmental disabilities. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage the behavior support needs of residents and provide RBT supervision to a team of staff members working across three shifts: AM, PM, and NOC. The BCBA will ensure that all behavior support plans are effectively implemented and that staff are trained and supervised in line with the standards of the BACB and California regulations.

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, twist, squat, kneel, crawl, climb and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently sit, walk, reach, bend and do simple and firm grasping of up to 50 pounds. The position requires manual deviation, repetition, and dexterity and to occasionally drive.
SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position with flexibility required to supervise staff across AM, PM, and NOC shifts.
