Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a BMS Solutions Architect to design and deliver advanced building management systems for commercial and industrial projects in Spain. The role combines technical architecture, pre-sales support, and client collaboration to create integrated HVAC, energy and lighting solutions.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in electrical or automation engineering, strong communication and presentation skills, and hands-on experience with major vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in BMS or building automation.
• Experience with Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens or Johnson Controls.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BMS architectures for commercial, industrial and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into integrated technical solutions.
• Develop solutions covering HVAC automation, energy management, lighting controls, building monitoring and other smart building applications.
• Provide technical expertise in building automation technologies, particularly Honeywell, Schneider Electric and comparable vendors.
• Support pre-sales activities, including technical proposals, system presentations, solution demonstrations and tender documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, system integrators and project stakeholders to ensure effective solution implementation.
• Identify opportunities to integrate BMS solutions with industrial automation, IoT and digital monitoring platforms.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial requirements through to implementation support.
