Job summary

Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. in Madrid is seeking an MEP Engineer to design and plan complete building services systems across Europe. You will work with customers and partners, coordinating internal and external teams and managing budgets and schedules within your disciplines.

The role focuses on HVAC, lighting and surveillance, and fire protection systems, with emphasis on BIM-based coordination, FATs, and site acceptance testing. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Experience in building services engineering in HVAC, lighting, or fire systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English; German is an advantage.
• Experience with engineering/design tools (Revit, BIM, Relux).
• Understanding of codes and regulations.
• Structured, organized, results-driven work approach.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan building services engineering systems for projects.
• Coordinate with customers, partners and suppliers throughout lifecycle.
• Manage budgets and project schedules for assigned disciplines.
• Conduct FATs and site acceptance tests with customers.
• Contribute to bid preparation and cost estimation.
