Formación

• 5+ years experience with complex IT solutions in international companies.
• 2+ years as application specialist in supply chain domain.

At Kapres Technology we are looking for a Blue Yonder WMS Specialist to work for a multinational client in the logistics sector.

About the role :

Projects and WMS product Change Requests :

• To deliver industry leading Warehouse Management System solutions for a Global customer.
• The candidate will have the opportunity to work on all phases of the application development life cycle, including :
• Quotations for the implementation of new or the extension of existing solutions.
• Participate in design workshops with both the internal and external customer.
• Definition and documentation of the technical / functional design that meets the business requirements.
• Configuration, development, and deployment of new solutions.
• Planning and delivery of unit, system, regression, and end to end test activities for the implementation of new or the extension of existing solutions.
• Go-live and hypercare support.

Production Services :

• To deliver and support run & maintain activities for Warehouse Management Systems and related applications. The candidate will be required to troubleshoot and solve complex functional and technical system issues reported by L3 team. They will be expected to take a pro-active approach to prevent issues from happening.
• To co-ordinate the activities needed to deliver the required application availability and performance.
• To promote continuous service improvement throughout the organization by building scalable, quality solutions in line with the IT and WMS Premium strategy.
• To design and implement standards which are easily reusable.
• To identify potential areas of improvement, present a solution and drive the delivery of such enhancement.

Requirements :

Education and Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

Experience :

• 5+ years’ experience with complex IT solutions in an international company
• 2+ years’ experience as an application specialist in the supply chain domain (desirable Warehouse Management Systems)
• Experience to work in virtual teams
• Experience with solution design for quotation processes
• Strong JDA Dispatcher WMS skills
• Solid knowledge of RDBMS
• Familiar with Linux shell scripting
• Familiar with architectural patterns
