Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Blockchain Security Auditor to join our security-focused team. You will perform in-depth audits of smart contracts, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable remediation guidance to diverse blockchain projects.

The role emphasizes rigorous testing, documenting findings, and collaborating with client developers to improve security posture. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Solidity, smart contract security, and modern verification

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of cybersecurity or security-focused technical experience.
Solid understanding of blockchain technology and smart contracts.
Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development.
Experience with security analysis and vulnerability assessment.
Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

Perform in-depth security audits and code reviews of smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, and similar languages.
Identify vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, overflows, unchecked external calls, and other exploits.
Analyze blockchain protocols and dApps for security flaws and risks.
Develop and execute test cases to validate security of contracts and implementations.
Document findings clearly with actionable remediation steps.
Stay current with emerging threats and best practices in blockchain security.
Collaborate with client teams to explain findings and guide remediation.
Contribute to internal auditing tools and methodologies.
Assess overall security architecture of blockchain-based systems.
