Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Proteomics & Drug Screening Scientist to join our Cell Biology and Drug Discovery Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing small molecule screening programs by designing and executing robust, high-throughput workflows. This position combines expertise in proteome-wide screening, mass spectrometry, cell-based assays, and affinity-based target enrichment to identify novel therapeutic candidates.

  • Develop and optimize cell-based assays for early-stage compound evaluation in multi-well formats
  • Implement and refine mass spectrometry–based proteomics workflows for unbiased target engagement
  • Design and execute affinity chromatography methods
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (biology, chemistry, bioinformatics) to translate screening data into actionable insights
  • Contribute to data analysis pipelines, applying quantitative and statistical approaches to prioritize screening hits

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in high-throughput cell-based and proteomics screening assays
  • Proficient with mass spectrometry platforms and associated data analysis tools for label-free quantitation
  • Hands-on expertise in affinity chromatography workflows to isolate and characterize protein–ligand interactions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt methods to evolving project needs
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management abilities
