Job summary

Grifols busca un Controller de Biopharma Cost Controlling para unirse al equipo internacional y fortalecer el control de costos de producción en diferentes plantas. Ubicado en Sant Cugat del Vallès, ofrece contrato indefinido a tiempo completo y opción de trabajo remoto parcial.

La posición requiere experiencia de 4+ años en controlling, dominio de SAP para el cierre de costing y excelentes habilidades en Excel y comunicación en inglés.

Qualifications

• Título universitario en Economía, Admin. de Empresas o Ingeniería Industrial.
• 4+ años de experiencia en controlling.
• Inglés alto (CAe).
• Conocimientos de contabilidad de costos y SAP para cierres.

Responsibilities

• Proporcionar análisis financiero y control de costos de producción entre plantas.
• Ser responsable del costing y cierre de mes en SAP (Actual Costing).
• Asesorar a áreas internas y auditar controles para SOX.
• Mantener datos maestros de controlling y apoyar proyectos corporativos.

Ensure the financial analysis and control of industrial operations, guaranteeing the proper measurement, monitoring, and optimization of production costs across different production areas; supporting operational teams by providing valuable financial analysis, enabling decision-making, and ensuring the quality of controlling, budgeting, reporting, and compliance processes, with a strong focus on efficiency, profitability, and the reliability of financial information. Within the Biopharma Business Unit we are lookig for a Biopharma Cost Controlling Controller.

What your responsibilities will be

• You will provide financial business support to the company’s management and work closely with the Plant Controllers in order to analyze the actual results and variances compared to the business plan.
• You will be the product costing responsible for Biopharma BU.
• You will be responsible for leading the company’s Actual Costing month-end closing process in SAP, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of results through detailed validation and analysis. You will identify and explain key drivers and variances, challenge unexpected outcomes, and communicate findings through clear and insightful reporting to support business decision-making.
• Act as the financial business partner for different ad-hoc business cases & internal stakeholders, providing financial guidance and controlling support to support the best decision making. Support the department during internal and external audits and maintain necessary controls to ensure SOX compliance.
• You will provide accuracy and business understanding of the information for the best decision making of the stakeholders.
• You will participate in corporate projects to improve the business performance (new IT tools, “best practices” projects among the manufacturing plants worldwide, support in new acquisitions).
• You will assist in maintaining the controlling Master Data.
• You will perform assigned tasks using established procedures with sound judgment, evaluation and critical thinking.

Who you are

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering.
• You bring 4+ years of experience in controlling department
• You have knowledge of fundamental accounting and cost accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
• You bring knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles (e.g. standard costing).
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language (CAE qualified).
• You have computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• You have strong Excel skills, i.e. knowledge of V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, basic accounting formulas, etc.
• You have the ability to identify continuous improvement measures.
• You must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
• You are a self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
• You have the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
• You have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis.
• You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
