Job summary

Moeve in Madrid is seeking a Value Architect for the Bios Value Chain within the Commercial Integration team to maximize end-to-end value from feedstock to final product.

You’ll collaborate with the Biofuels Trading desk, Commercial Units, Refineries, Supply & Logistics, and Compliance to design data-driven strategies, manage risk, and optimize make/buy, import-export and product slate across Spain and international markets, all while upholding integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in energy industry with Refining, Supply and Trading
• Degree in Chemical/Industrial/Industrial Engineering or economics
• Understanding of E2E Biofuels value chain including feedstock, production, logistics, trading
• Knowledge of RED III, ReFuel, FuelEU, ISCC frameworks across Spain/Portugal
• Financial and risk exposure principles to support business cases

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate E2E optimization decisions (make vs. buy, import-export, co-process vs. blend)
• Provide guidance and price signals to enable Trading Optimization
• Provide risk management solutions to protect E2E margin
• Understand the impact of sustainability and compliance frameworks on eligibility and pathways
• Coordinate interactions with key stakeholders across Trading, Commercial Units, Refineries, Origination, Operations
• Develop data-driven plans and monitor execution to support decision-making
• Facilitate E2E optimization by removing bottlenecks and allocating resources
