Do you know that Basic-Fit opens the most gyms in Europe per year? We are growing rapidly, with about 100 new clubs opening annually. Therefore, we are looking for someone to join our internal construction team to support this expansion and grow along with our company. If you have a strong interest in the Basic-Fit building process and want to be our next BIM Modeler, read on!

Role Overview:

As a BIM Modeler, you will be part of our BIM team within the property department.

You will be responsible for digitalizing construction operations and managing assets for all 1,600 clubs across six countries. You will communicate directly with construction partners and suppliers' BIM departments to support their digitalization efforts.

Your expertise will help us achieve our expansion goals and make club construction more cost-efficient.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting Basic-Fit with data derived from 3D models
• Proposing ways to integrate BIM within Basic-Fit’s workflows and suggesting efficiency improvements
• Creating 3D models for new and existing locations
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet requirements and regulations
• Generating clash detection reports to reduce construction risks
• Reviewing designs for conflicts and resolving issues
• Participating in project meetings and providing progress updates

You will report directly to our BIM Manager and work closely with Construction Engineers and Architects.

Candidate Profile:

We seek an open-minded individual who adapts well to change, is practical, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with a structured approach.

• Higher professional education in architecture, construction engineering, or a related field
• Experience modeling with point clouds
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
• Knowledge of MS Office, Revit (MEP is a plus)
• Additional languages like Dutch, French, German, or Spanish are advantageous
• Familiarity with Autodesk DOCS, Smartsheet, Dynamo/Python is beneficial
