Turner & Townsend in Madrid is seeking a BIM Coordinator with strong data analysis and visualization skills to join our Digital division in Madrid. The role requires coordinating BIM across projects, ensuring data quality, and engaging stakeholders with a systematic, independent work approach.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in BIM management, proficiency in ACC, Revit and related tools, and a solid background in ISO19650 standards.

Formación

• 5+ years BIM management experience on architecture, engineering and construction projects.
• Excellent English (C1 Advanced) both spoken and written.
• Advanced skills with Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM authoring/coordination tools.
• Able to lead BIM documentation such as EIRs, PIRs, and BIM Execution Plans.
• Strong data visualization and data verification capabilities.

Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Digital division in Spain requires a BIM Coordinator with strong data analysis and visualization skills to join the team in Madrid.

The role is varied, and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, experience engaging with project stakeholders, and the ability to work independently. A systematic approach to work is a must, as well as experience in BIM requirements development, implementation, execution, BIM model validation and data verification. Strong data analysis and data visualisation skills are also a must, as rotation across BIM and data analysis projects is expected.

Key Responsibilities

We lead the BIM process at organisational, programme and project level. The candidate’s responsibilities will span across multiple project stages, including:

• Discovery, understanding and BIM requirements development (OIRs, AIRs, EIRs, PIRs).
• BIM implementation strategy and project setup.
• Project and programme BIM execution.
• BIM information management and supply chain management.
• BIM compliance checking and data verification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience inBIM management inarchitecture,engineeringand construction projects across the entire project lifecycle.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent command (Level C1 Advanced).
• Advanced skills in configuration and management ofAutodesk Construction Cloud(ACC).
• Authorkey BIM documentation such as Asset Information Requirements, ExchangeInformation Requirements, Project Information Requirements,and where applicable, BIM Execution Plans.
• Assure project BIM standards are being followed,reportingonkey risks and effective mitigationsusing plain language reporting.
• Consulting and business analysis skills
• Proficiency in data visualisation software such as Power BI and Tableau
• Strong understanding of dimensions, measures, metadata & schemas
• Manage teams of BIM coordinators.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Advanced-levelexperience in BIMauthoring,validation,and coordination tools likeRevit,AECOsim,Navisworks,Vectorworks,BIM Collab,SolibriModelCheckerand IFC Checker.
• Up to date knowledge ofISO19650standards.
• Ability to leadand support teamsin the implementation of BIM on major projectsandprogrammes.
• Assess projectteams’BIM competency,advisingthe development of the project BIM Execution Plans and approving on behalf ofthe client where necessary.
• Lead model assurance activities,including definition ofstrategy, andmodeland BIM dataanalysis.
• Chair andBIM workshopswith the project team to present outcomes of model assurance activities.

• Consultancy background,with client-facing experienceand a client-orientatedapproach.
• Data management, including extracting,organisingandanalysingBIM data, including dashboard creation viaPowerBIor similar.
• Knowledge ofdelivery requirements,quality management,andprocess improvementin complex construction projects.
• Skilled in presenting and delivering training to groups of stakeholders.
• Research, develop and implement areas ofnew technology,process,and emerging best practices.
• Provide support to the wider business with tender bidding teams to win future work.
