Bryden Wood in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a Structural BIM Technologist to join our expanding team. You will develop structural drawings and BIM models for large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on Revit Structures modelling and detailing.

Experience of working in projects (1-3 years) with BIM working environment roles, within Revit Structures modelling and drafting as core responsibility.
Studies and education on Engineering (Structural / Civil), Architecture, Building Engineering or country-origin equivalent.
Excellent English communications skills, both written and spoken (Spanish is a point, but not a must)
Candidates must be fully entitled to work and legally eligible to work in Spain, and willing to relocate into Barcelona in case is not current base location.
Good understanding of steel and concrete structures design (your role won’t include calculations) expanding to detailing & reinforcement.
Good understanding and experience of working with Revit features (templates, filters, design options, phases, model quantities schedule, 3D rebar and rebar schedules)

To prepare and to develop structural drawings, BIM models, images and other documents relating to the design
Maintain project-specific library of families and develop new families as required along with other project-specific contents based on BW or Client standards.
Carry out model auditing to make sure all models comply with Bryden Wood / project requirements
Deep understanding of project BEP. Taking the responsibility to keep it up to date when performing Project BIM Lead specific project role.
Work with project teams to develop and implement project-specific BIM workflows, Quality BIM plan and data management
Work with Engineers and liaise with internal and external project teams to produce structural information modelling and drawing production on projects as needed to deliver projects successfully
Take responsibility for the draft production and delivery of structural information, later on, it will be through QA internal workflows.
