Americold is building a new European Service Support Centre in Barcelona, Spain. We seek a proactive Spanish and English-speaking Accounts Receivable Associate to manage AR operations and occasionally support Accounts Payable.

This role will coordinate with billing and in-country finance teams to ensure timely collections, accurate reconciliations, and strong financial controls across Europe. A hybrid work arrangement in Barcelona 22@ is offered.

Formación

• Fluency in Spanish and English required; Dutch and other European languages a plus.
• Bachelor's degree and/or Finance qualifications or training.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee customer accounts to ensure efficient AR operation.
• Collections Management: Follow up with clients regarding overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable balances and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Cash Application: Process incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts.
• Dispute Management: Gather documentation and maintain clear communication throughout the dispute resolution process.
• Compliance and Audit: Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with controls and regulations.
• Reporting and Analytics: Generate AR reports, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
• Collaboration: Work with billing and in-country finance teams to improve AR processes.
• Assist with AP Activities: Process invoice receipts, approvals, and reconciliations with the ledger.
• Perform month-end checks and adhere to KPIs.
