Americold is seeking a proactive Spanish and English-speaking Accounts Receivable Associate to join the newly created European Service Support Centre in Barcelona. The role supports AR and may assist AP, contributing to Americold's growth across Europe.

The candidate will manage collections, reconciliations, cash application, disputes, and reporting, while collaborating with in-country finance teams and billing. Hybrid work policy applies in Barcelona.

Formación

• Fluency in Spanish and English required; Dutch and other European languages a plus.
• Ideally a bachelor's degree and/or Finance qualifications and training.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration skills across diverse, multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts Receivable Management: oversee customer accounts and monitor collections.
• Collections: follow up with clients regarding overdue invoices and facilitate timely payments.
• Reconciliation: reconcile AR balances and prepare aging reports.
• Cash Application: process incoming payments and apply to accounts.
• Dispute & Compliance: document disputes and ensure internal controls are followed.
• Reporting: generate AR reports and collaborate with billing and in-country finance teams.
• Assist with AP activities including invoice processing and reconciliations.
