About the firm :

Studio GRONDA, based in Madrid, is an international design firm specializing in architecture, interior, industrial, and experiential projects with a focus on luxury hospitality. The studio has completed projects across Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean.

Professional Profile & Qualifications :

We seek an Architect passionate about leading design processes for medium to large-scale high-end hospitality projects. This full-time role is based in Madrid. The ideal candidate will possess strategic vision, deep knowledge of architectural and interior design, and proven project management skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and advancing the luxury sector.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Design, plan, develop, and produce architectural and technical documentation in coordination with the team.
  • Create concepts, schematic designs, design development, finishes specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with consultants (lighting, MEP, AV, kitchens, spas, etc.) during design phases.
  • Detail bespoke elements technically.
  • Supervise sites and coordinate with technical teams and clients on-site.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s and / or Master’s in Architecture or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in hospitality projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design processes, documentation, and supervision.
  • Intermediate understanding of materials, codes, and construction techniques.
  • Experience managing medium to large projects from inception to construction, leading technical coordination.
  • Proficiency in English (interview will be in English).
  • International project experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Project management and team coordination.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Ability to express ideas through hand sketches.
  • Collaborative, professional, and proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
  • Team player with adaptability and autonomy.
  • Passion for design and continuous improvement.
