GMV Spain is expanding its Defence & Security teams to build large-scale information exploitation platforms for the cyber defence domain. You will design and implement Big Data platforms for storing, processing, and exploiting vast information volumes.

The team focuses on data architectures, ETL processes, and information extraction, with opportunities in other business areas. Hybrid work, international mobility, and career development are offered.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Engineering or related technical field with a Master's in Big Data or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with Big Data platforms and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop, and document processing tooling.

We are expanding our Defence & Security teams to develop large-scale information exploitation platforms for the cyber defence domain.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will join the team responsible for the design and implementation of Big Data platforms for storing, processing, and exploiting large volumes of information.

You will participate in the design of data architectures, the development of ETL processes, information extraction from documents, integration of multiple data sources, and the creation of scalable solutions that transform data into actionable intelligence for cyber defence operations and other business areas.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for candidates with a degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical field, together with a Master's degree in Big Data or an equivalent qualification, and at least 3 years of experience working with Big Data platforms and large-scale data processing.

The required skills for the role includes:

• Designing and implementing Big Data architectures.
• Developing data storage and data exploitation processes.
• Experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Automated document processing and information extraction.
• Experience using document processing libraries such as PyMuPDF.
• Designing data models and integrating multiple data sources.
• Developing scalable solutions for analysing large volumes of information.
• Experience in advanced analytics, cybersecurity, or intelligence projects will be considered a plus.
