WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Big Data Developer, you will join the Regulatory and Compliance technology team at Banco Santander.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing business applications through the full software lifecycle: problem analysis, technical solution, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Communicating with users to understand technological needs and providing strategic solutions.
• Code optimization and analysis: threat modeling, SAST, Sonar, etc.
• Planning and executing projects using Agile methodology.
• Managing internal tools to document ALM throughout project phases.
• Supporting incidents, including planned interventions.
• Executing unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Managing tools to facilitate releases.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 years of experience as a Big Data Developer.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or related fields.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Senior:

• Java / JavaScript

Necessary:

• GitHub
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Desirable:

• Microservices (Spring Boot), OpenShift
• Flink
• Drools
• Kafka
• DevOps practices
• Experience with Agile tools: Jira, Confluence
• Strategic thinking and innovation skills
• S3, Elasticsearch, Angular
• Business knowledge in Transactional Regulatory Reporting
