Big Data Developer

Job Responsibilities:

1. System Development: Design and develop software solutions that facilitate accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS 15.
2. Technology: Scala, Spark, Python, SQL, GCP (cloud storage, Dataproc, Cloud Function), Linux. Git and Jenkins as CI / CD.
3. Process Implementation: Establish and implement processes to ensure ongoing adherence to IFRS 15 standards across all relevant projects.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT, to integrate IFRS 15 requirements into existing systems and workflows.
5. Testing and Documentation: Ensure thorough testing and proper documentation of all developed solutions.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changes in IFRS 15 standards and proactively adjust systems and processes to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in system development with a focus on financial reporting standards, preferably IFRS 15.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development, including experience with relevant programming languages and tools (Python, Spark, Scala).
4. Database: MySQL 8.0.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
7. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
