Jobtailor in Barcelona is seeking an experienced BI Analyst to build engaging dashboards, translate business requirements into scalable data products, and deliver actionable insights that support revenue and growth. You will partner with data teams, develop KPIs, conduct statistical analyses and A/B tests, and promote a data-driven culture, using Tableau, Looker, Power BI and Python.

Requirements include 6+ years in BI/Data Science, an MS/BS in a related field, and strong Python and Dbt-SQLMesh

• 6+ years of professional experience in BI analysis, data products, or data science.
• MS/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a science-related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Dbt-SQLMesh.
• Experience creating scalable schemas and data models.
• Experience with statistical methodologies and A/B testing is a plus.
• Ability to present data clearly and influence business decisions.

• Build engaging and intuitive BI dashboards and data visualizations
• Accurately capture data requirements supporting business objectives
• Translate requirements to Data Engineering and Data Science teams and be responsible for delivery
• Bring insights to business teams, focusing on revenue and growth opportunities
• Partner with business teams as a data subject-matter expert
• Develop data storytelling capabilities
• Develop and track KPIs and own business measurement
• Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities using numerical and statistical expertise
• Turn findings into clear recommendations for business teams and Senior Management
• Help shape data usage and promote a data-driven, data-democratic culture

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Product Owner or Data Scientist
• MS/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a science-related discipline
• High proficiency in Python and Dbt-SQLMesh
• Ability to create tables and develop schemas that function efficiently, are optimized and scalable
• Experience with statistical methodologies and A/B (hypothesis) testing is a huge plus
• Hands-on experience using BI data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Open Source
• Ability to present data in a compelling and intuitive way
• Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
