A life science company in Spain is seeking a self-motivated BI Analyst to join its IT department. The successful candidate will develop and implement analytical and reporting solutions while collaborating with various teams to ensure effective delivery of insights. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, a minimum of 4 years' experience in analytics, and strong skills in Qlik Sense and SQL. This role offers the opportunity to drive data-driven decision-making in the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics, business insights, or similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of Qlik Sense and SQL for data handling.
• Experience with Python for analytics or automation is a plus.

We’re looking for a self‑motivated, highly engaged professional to act as a BI Analyst to the IT department.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytical, reporting, and automation solutions connecting enterprise systems and databases to address critical business needs.
• Lead and continuously optimize the reporting lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of dashboards, KPIs, performance insights, ad‑hoc analyses, forecasting models, and trigger‑based alerts.
• Design, maintain, and optimize data loading and transformation scripts, reducing manual interventions and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Finance, Operations, IT) to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in analytics, business insights, sales operations, or a similar data‑driven role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data interpretation capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of Qlik Sense (data modeling, scripting, dashboard design) and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience with Python for analytics or automation is a plus.
