An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the implementation of European Pay Transparency and Global Job Architecture. Formación

  • 5-7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits management.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager to lead and oversee, in collaboration with the Global Compensation & Benefits Team, the implementation of European Pay Transparency, Global Job Architecture, and ensure that all related policies, processes, and systems align with local, regional, and global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. European Pay Transparency & Global Job Architecture:
  2. Lead development and implementation of European pay transparency policies in line with local laws and global standards.
  3. Drive gender neutrality in pay, ensuring compliance with laws and best practices.
  4. Perform gap analyses to identify discrepancies in pay structures and recommend solutions.
  5. Provide guidance on country-specific applications of global policies considering local nuances.
  6. Maintain consistent pay structures across countries, ensuring documentation for compliance and audits.
  7. Conduct regular audits, including GDPR compliance documentation.
  8. Review and update local compensation policies to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.
  9. Maintain clear documentation of policies and compliance requirements.
  10. Design and implement regular review processes for compensation structures.

Training & Development:

  1. Develop and deliver training programs on compensation practices, pay transparency, and policy updates.
  2. Update training materials based on regulatory and internal changes.

Legal Compliance & Risk Management:

  1. Stay informed on labor laws, tax policies, and legislation, ensuring compliance.
  2. Ensure GDPR compliance in data management.
  3. Collaborate with Business, Finance, Legal, and HR teams for alignment.
  4. Partner with external providers for compensation services, conducting cost and ROI analyses.
  5. Manage internal communications for clarity and transparency.
  6. Develop strategies for tax optimization and manage benefits packages.
  7. Act as a subject matter expert in compensation-related areas.
  8. Foster collaboration among teams to support strategic decisions.
  9. Review and update compensation strategies annually.
  10. Evaluate and integrate new roles and job hierarchy changes.

Special Projects & Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Manage transitions from temporary to permanent roles, including benefits and housing.
  2. Design programs for graduates and funding, including business case development.
  3. Contribute to budget planning with C&B considerations.
  4. Ensure job calibration for benchmarking using internal and external data.
  5. Monitor health insurance plans and propose cost-saving strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s or certifications in C&B or HR preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits management, especially in European pay transparency and global job architecture.
  • Operational and strategic capabilities, translating strategy into local plans.
  • Strong knowledge of European labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Expertise in pay equity analysis, including gender neutrality.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and generate insights.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones due to the global scope of the role.
