Descripción del empleo

Safran Engineering Services, a division of Safran Electrical and Power, has over 25 years of experience providing engineering services to aerospace, automotive, rail, and ground transportation industries.

Start date and duration: Immediate, 6 months.

Position description:

We are looking for a graduate with knowledge in developing solutions for product development projects using Artificial Intelligence. The role involves developing aerospace products using design and finite element calculation tools. While proficiency in these tools is not required, knowledge of mechanical engineering is valuable. Programming skills and knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence are essential. The selected candidate will develop automation tools to increase project efficiency in innovation initiatives.

Required knowledge:

Experience with artificial intelligence tools and software development. Familiarity with Python, including libraries such as Tkinter, Pandas, and Pywin32.

Knowledge of Git, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, Excel, SAP. Understanding of project development processes, especially Scrum Agile methodology.

Tasks and responsibilities:

As an innovation engineer, designing, developing, and evaluating solutions tailored to industry problems. Applying machine learning to solve problems innovatively.

Example tasks:

Automating Excel files. Developing applications to automate repetitive tasks for design and calculation engineering teams.

Automating requirements traceability. Creating and improving tools for tracking project requirements to enhance project management and customer satisfaction.

Location:

Safran Engineering Services offices in Valladolid or Getafe.

Requirements:

Knowledge of mechanical engineering.

Completion of an internship agreement with a university or master's program.

Language: intermediate English proficiency.

Offer:

Paid internship of €650 gross per month.

Flexible working hours.
