Intern - Tax Global and Compliance and Reporting

The opportunity

Our team is responsible for performing accounting, finance, reporting, and fiscal compliance tasks for individual entities and groups of national and international entities. As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities:

• Accounting support and assistance in transaction recording process
• Preparation of accounting and financial reports for management
• Preparation of financial statements for local and corporate purposes with accounting disclosures
• Financial statement conversion and consolidation
• Administrative support in treasury and account handling, as well as assistance in the execution of specific projects related to accounting matters
• Preparation and filing of tax declarations, both direct and indirect
• Preparation of Annual Accounts and other specific reports for companies and regulatory authorities

Skills and attributes for success:

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, reporting to multiple managers simultaneously
• Ability to lead and manage projects independently
• Knowledge of accounting and fiscal compliance

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• Active directory in the University
• Last year student of a Degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Good English skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ERPs and/or accounting software program
