We are welcoming Manufacturing Engineers for an exciting internship opportunity at Airbus Helicopters in Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.

Join our engaged team of about 40 engineers from diverse backgrounds within our Operations division.

What’s in for you :

• Internship position based in Albacete, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain.
• Hands-on experience with helicopters as part of your daily work, immersing you in the manufacturing environment.
• Opportunity to work closely with the products you develop and expand your professional network in the aerospace industry.

What do we do?

• Assemble and test Airbus Helicopters rear fuselages and develop FAL / Pre-FAL concepts for governmental programs.
• Analyze and resolve production issues to prevent assembly line impacts and eliminate recurrences.
• Maintain continuous contact with shopfloor operators working directly with helicopters.
• Provide data-driven improvement solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.

What will your day look like?

• Support daily operations within the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Assist in the industrialization process, linking design data to manufacturing and collaborating with the design office.
• Ensure efficient workflows and accurate documentation, supporting change management.
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies to achieve Industrial Excellence goals.

Your Boarding Pass :

• Background in Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to apply digital approaches in an industrial environment.
• Curious, rigorous, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.
• Diverse academic and non-academic backgrounds are welcome.
• Programming and project management skills are advantageous.
• Effective communication skills in Spanish and English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
