Mecalux busca un Battery Engineer para unirse a su departamento de Robótica Industrial. El candidato ideal tendrá un título en ingeniería eléctrica o mecatrónica y al menos 5-7 años de experiencia en tecnología de celdas de baterías de litio. Formación

Currently, in the Industrial Robotics department, we are seeking a Battery Engineer for our technology center in Cornella de Llobregat.

What will be your main functions?

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of battery management systems (BMS), including operational analysis. Provide specifications and analysis for battery thermal management systems (TMS).
  • Identify test requirements related to battery system specifications. Supervise and execute battery system testing and certification. Develop agile test procedures and test beds, including concept, design, data acquisition, evaluation, and documentation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the Safety Team regarding battery standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors. Oversee relationships with key test facilities and research partners.
  • Design electrical systems using Eplan.

What are the minimum requirements?

  • University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience in Lithium-Ion battery cell technology.
  • Deep knowledge of Lithium-ion cell technology.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a goal-oriented approach.

  • Excellent command of Spanish and English.
