Job summary

AVL Iberica seeks an engineer to develop electrical components for Lithium‑Ion batteries, including busbars, junction boxes, fuses, relays, and sensors. You will manage scoping to industrialization phases, dimension components, define specifications, and drive design reviews in an international environment.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Electric/Electronic engineering or related field, and 3–4 years of relevant experience or a PhD. Spanish and English are mandatory, French desirable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree Electric / Electronic or generalist in mehcanics with specialization in electronics.
• Knowledge of development logic of electrical or electronic components in the automotive field.
• Knowledge of electrotechnical and electromechanical components.
• Languages: Spanish and English mandatory; French desirable.
• Availability to travel frequently (20% time) to clients' facilities.

Responsibilities

• Dimension the component.
• Write the generic specifications and define the validation plans.
• Write the core competencies rules, define technical policies and standards of your scope.
• Manage innovations of these components, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Lead components design reviews through development phase.
• Evaluate and select new technologies (technology watch, benchmarks, state of the art).
