BatterieIngenieure by UL Solutions in Bilbao area, Spain, seeks an engineer to develop advanced diagnostic algorithms and battery models. You will lead international projects, engage with customers, and contribute to BMS architecture and test validation.

We value a strong technical background, good communication, and hands-on MATLAB/Simulink with Python or C. Hybrid work and international collaboration with Aachen are available.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation/Electronic/Mechanical/Data/Physics or related field; PhD appreciated.
• 3–4 years of experience in Battery Modeling/Simulation, state-detection functions, or BMS AI-based models.
• Fluent English; German knowledge appreciated.
• Strong communication and independent work ethic.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and possibly C.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or support international projects from technical and organizational perspectives.
• Lead technical discussions with customers.
• Design, develop and validate control algorithms for battery state detection.
• Develop, implement and validate battery models.
• Design Battery Management System architecture for custom applications.
• Oversee characterization and validation test procedures.
• Evaluate and analyze test data.
• Supervise junior engineers and interns.
