Formación

  • Experience in the hospitality market.

We are looking for a Barman to join our 5-star hotel in an international group, located on the stunning Madeira Island!

What we need:
  1. Knowledge of spirits and different beverages;
  2. Certificate in F&B;
  3. Experience in the hospitality market;
  4. Focus on customer service;
  5. Upselling skills;
  6. Understanding of the latest industry trends regarding beverages;
  7. Organization skills, communication, and resilience;
  8. Teamwork;
  9. Desire and ability to train and develop staff;
  10. Proficiency in speaking and writing in Portuguese & English, basic German and French are a plus.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Monitor the ordering of all beer, spirits, bar tools, and equipment;
  2. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, costing, and preparation methods;
  3. Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality;
  4. Ensure that appropriate stock levels of all bar items are maintained;
  5. Utilize appropriate stemware/glassware as required by company standards;
  6. Create and innovate with mixed drinks and cocktails;
  7. Use expert knowledge to create innovative drinks that explore flavor boundaries;
  8. Ensure a memorable customer experience;
  9. Maintain high levels of customer service to meet guest expectations.
