Job summary

Carhartt WIP in Barcelona is seeking a Store Manager (m/f/x) for a full-time, fixed-term contract. You will lead the store team, develop strategies to grow sales, and ensure exceptional customer service and store presentation.

The ideal candidate has proven store-management experience, strong leadership, fluency in Spanish plus English and Portuguese, and a passion for fashion. You will collaborate with HR, finance and merchandising to achieve company goals and maintain brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proven successful experience in store management.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• People and customer management skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish is mandatory, English is a plus.
• BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferable.
• Enthusiastic about fashion.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to raise our customers' pool, expand store traffic and optimise profitability.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc).
• Collaboration with HR, Finance, Visual and Retail Merchandising and other relevant departments to ensure company goals are achieved.
