Job summary

Work in Progress Belgium Sprl is seeking a Store Manager for our Barcelona store on a full‑time fixed-term contract. You will lead the team, develop business strategies, and ensure outstanding customer service and store standards.

You will coordinate with HR, Finance and Visual Merchandising, manage payroll, and represent the company in the market. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; Spanish is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven successful experience in store management.
• BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferable.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to raise our customers' pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Collaboration with HR, Finance, Visual and Retail Merchandising and other relevant departments to ensure company goals are achieved
