Job summary

eRoots Analytics SL in Barcelona is seeking a Power Systems, Electrical, Industrial, or Control Engineer to design power converters, build control architectures, and run high-fidelity simulations of modern grids.

A strong academic background in power systems, hands-on experience with PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD or Matlab/Simulink, and English proficiency are required; EU work permit is essential; join our Barcelona office at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in power systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one simulation tool (PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, Matlab/Simulink).
• Knowledge of power converter topologies, control schemes, and stability analysis.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate high-fidelity models of power electronics equipment for grid applications.
• Design and test control strategies to ensure compliance with international grid codes.
• Conduct grid integration and stability studies for large-scale projects.
• Support the development of our software tools and contribute to R&D initiatives.
