Job summary

M47 Labs SL in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester to join our expanding mobile QA group. You will perform manual testing on mobile apps and backend APIs, verify fixes, and triage issues with cross-functional teams to ensure quality releases.

You will review server logs using Splunk, execute tests, and contribute to regression testing across web and TV apps. A basic knowledge of Python for flaky tests is a plus; the role is on-site in Barcelona with a comprehensive compensation

Qualifications

Proven experience with manual testing of mobile apps and backend/APIs.
Expertise in API functional testing and automated test execution.
Familiarity with server-side logging tools (Splunk) and HTTP traffic monitoring (e.g. Charles Proxy).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing to identify usability issues, edge cases, and regressions.
Verify bug fixes and server changes for release qualification.
Execute automated tests and triage test failures.
Review Splunk dashboards and create new queries as needed.
Conduct regression testing for web apps and TV app on mobile and Mac.
Write, execute and maintain server-side manual test plans.
Analyze results and collaborate with teams to identify root causes.
