Formación

Overview

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all bar outlets within Time Out Market Barcelona, ensuring excellence in service, maximizing profitability, and delivering a consistent customer experience aligned with the Time Out brand.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of all TOM Bars.
  • Ensure efficient stock management, ordering, and supplier relations.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to guarantee compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to optimize staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and service quality.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to recruit, train, and develop bar staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to foster a positive and motivating team culture.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional service across all bars, maintaining consistency with the Time Out Market brand.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints swiftly.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to curate a unique and innovative beverage program.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to develop seasonal cocktails, special promotions, and pairings aligned with cultural events.
  • Ensure sustainability and responsibility in product sourcing and waste reduction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Beverage Manager, or similar role (ideally in high-volume venues, hospitality groups, or food halls).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of mixology, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (Catalan a plus).
