We are looking for a **Bank Reconciliation Assistant** in Alcobendas (Madrid) for one of the largest international money transfer companies in the world. Our client stands out for its international environment and background, and for its policies of equality and job placement. They are also deeply involved in the professional and personal growth of its employees.If you have previous experience in similar positions, are highly goal-oriented, detail-oriented, have a fluent level of English (minimum B2-C1), high knowledge of Excel and a recognized degree of disability of 33% or higher, we would love to talk with you.**Main challenges**:Bank Reconciliation Clerk responsible for reconciling Bank Accounts, resolving issues between Banks and the company departments. The reconciliation accountant ensures that cash amounts in company's accounting ledgers agree with bank balances. Ensures that batch files are correctly applied to prevent significant errors in cash balance calculation. Reviews bank accounts, checks batch balances against ledger amounts and verifies that such amounts agree with financial statement items.**Job fuctions and responsibilities**:- Assuming responsibility for the effective and timely performance of identifying combination/batch files processed to general ledger items.- Initiating and receiving communication with AR team, regarding inquiries and issues.- Researching reconciling items outstanding on all assigned accounts, determining whether it is an internal or external issue, notifying the concerned party and follow up until resolved.**Requirements**:- Education: Studies related with Administration (Grado Medio, Superior, FP I, FP II).- Work Experience: at least 1 year in a similar position.- Indispensable:- Fluent English writing and speaking (B2-C1, certification will be requested, or a level test will be carried out).- A degree of recognized disability of 33% or more.- Advanced Excel skills (Dynamic Table, Formulas, Macros, etc).**Competencies**:- Attention to detail.- Ability to meet concurrent deadlines.- Interacting effectively and tactfully.- Problem solver.- Demonstrates initiative.**Conditions**:- Day: Full time- Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm rotating shifts.- Type of contract: stable position.- Immediate incorporation.- Location: Alcobendas (Madrid).
