SANTANDER DIGITAL SERVICES is looking for a DR Cloud Platform Engineer, based mainly in MADRID.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Backup & DR Cloud Platform Engineer your mission will be to help build the product and services around it into the cloud platform. Your responsibilities will include providing design input, supporting and collaborating with other areas and analysts on project milestones, and analyzing weaknesses while recommending system improvements.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts :

• Design and implement development processes for backup services across major public cloud platforms : Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Produce detailed project documentation, manage schedules, resources, and keep track of project status.
• Manage issues and risks, ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Develop detailed reports and analyses for decision-making by executives and business leaders.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure the achievement of common goals, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Provide engineering expertise in designing public cloud architectures, optimizing solutions for performance, scalability, and security.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• 2 years’ experience as a DevOps in a Public Cloud environment.
• Fluent English spoken.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Required :
• Tools : Jira, Confluence, Service Now.
• Operative Systems : Unix, Windows.
• Public Cloud : Azure, AWS.
• Programming languages : Python, Shellscript, HCL (Terraform).
• Recommended :
• Automation processes (SDK & CLI).
• Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Backup and Data Protection knowledge.
