Betsson Group in Malaga, Spain is hiring a Backend Software Engineer for its Wallet Development team. You will design and build distributed backend services using C#/.NET, contribute to containerization, and help scale systems with a focus on performance and reliability.

The role involves collaboration with product teams to translate engagement ideas into scalable, maintainable solutions, and participating in architecture discussions to shape technical decisions. Hybrid work is offered.

Formación

• Experience designing and building distributed backend services in C#/.NET
• Strong understanding of relational/non-relational databases and query optimization
• Experience with cloud, containers, and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with messaging systems and event-driven patterns
• Proactive collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to turn engagement ideas into scalable solutions
• Optimize microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability
• Drive containerization and cloud migration strategy forward
• Participate in architecture discussions and shape technical decisions
• Lead architectural decisions and improvements for senior engineers
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct code reviews
• Participate in incident resolution and on-call rotation
• Maintain ADRs, runbooks and guidelines
• Share domain expertise within the team
