Job Description

We are focused on building the next-generation game backend services platform and are seeking a dedicated, talented, and passionate software developer to play an important role in this endeavor.

We are looking for a motivated online services software developer to collaborate with our clients and infrastructure team to improve and develop new services for our online gaming platform product.

You will be part of a cross-functional agile development team creating innovative enterprise-level technology solutions. You will work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies managing over 10 billion requests per day from over 20 million active players across more than 100 games.

You will be involved in the development, deployment, support, and maintenance of services supporting Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure, including multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, social networks, and more.

What you will do :

• Design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, highly available services and systems focusing on quality, security, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in all product development and delivery stages.
• Research and prototype various technologies useful for the project.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in object-oriented programming, writing high-quality and well-documented code in Python.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, standard software design patterns, web application, and web services architecture.
• Ability to understand abstract requirements, define implementation steps, and deliver results focused on client needs.
• Adaptability to challenges, learning new technologies, and prototyping new ideas.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Proactive and independent work ethic.
• Meticulous focus on code quality.

Nice to have :

• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
