Job Description

We are focused on building the next-generation game backend services platform and we are looking for a dedicated, talented, and passionate software developer to play an important role in this endeavor.

We seek a motivated online services software developer to work alongside our clients and infrastructure team to improve and develop new services for our online gaming platform.

You will be part of a cross-functional agile development team creating innovative enterprise-level technology solutions. You will work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies managing over 10 billion requests per day from more than 20 million active players across over 100 games.

Your responsibilities will include development, deployment, support, and maintenance of services supporting Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure, such as multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, and social networks.

What you will do :

• Design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, highly available services focusing on quality, security, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in all stages of product development and delivery.
• Research and prototype various technologies useful for the project.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in object-oriented programming, writing high-quality, well-documented Python code.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, software design patterns, web application, and web services architecture.
• Ability to understand abstract requirements, define implementation steps, and deliver results focused on client needs.
• Adaptability in accepting challenges, learning new technologies, and prototyping ideas.
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Proactive and independent work attitude.
• Meticulous focus on code quality.

Nice to have :

• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Java and Java Spring Boot/Spring Cloud frameworks.
