Liferay is seeking a backend-focused engineer with frontend expertise to join the Frontend Infrastructure team. You will bridge core backend systems with user-facing frontend frameworks, designing and delivering backend frameworks, build tools, and pipelines powering Liferay’s frontend ecosystem.

You will work as a full‑stack developer with strong server-side skills, collaborating with UX Designers and Product Managers to implement the shared vision and ensure high-quality, scalable software for

Formación

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in Agile development practices.
• Strong Java and JavaScript (React) skills with Freemarker and SQL.
• Proficient in Git and DVCS workflows like pull-requests.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade code.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Bridge backend systems with frontend frameworks to power Liferay’s frontend ecosystem.
• Design, build, and optimize backend frameworks, tooling, and delivery pipelines.
• Write high quality, maintainable code and manage technical debt.
• Participate in peer reviews and collaborative improvement.
• Work with UX Designers and Product Managers to implement vision.
• Use Git and GitHub daily: branches, merges, rebases, PRs.
