Liferay, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Madrid, on-site, to help evolve our core web content and digital repository capabilities. You will join a cross-functional agile team and independently drive feature projects from design through delivery.

We expect 3+ years of software engineering experience, a CS degree, and solid skills in Java, Freemarker, SQL, and Git. Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus. Salary and benefits reflect seniority and performance.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in Java with strong knowledge of Freemarker and SQL.
• Experience with Git and DVCS workflows, including branching strategies.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and enhance features for the Liferay Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver scalable software.
• Write high quality, maintainable code and manage technical debt.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
